Privé  bakery cafe serves breakfast all day long. Their coffee is relatively good and you should really try the egg benedict. Though they are not always consistent with the quality of the food and pace of service. Do bring it up to the manager if the yolk doesn’t ooze and not runny. You’ll get another in 5 mins with champagne as an apology.
The only reason I was back there again was the view and my friend’s pestering. Anyways, if you have not been there and whole morning till afternoon to spare, it’ll be nice to have brunch there!

I had a short trip 3D/2N to HCM, yet I didn’t want to feel like I miss out anything while I was there so I prioritized. Pho (Beef noodle), Vietnamese Coffee, beautiful architecture, fine dine, paintings, manicure and pedicure and more food as I walk on foot~! In short:

Taxi: I was conned by taxi drivers. They are lined up at the airport taxi stand! I assumed was fine, so never assume. He starts the meter at first, then took a detour and turned off the meter without permission. He then asked for very ridiculous high price and threaten to stop and let you down (you can’t afford to leave the taxi because you’ll be at deserted area by then). So, I agreed with that crazy price and called my friend. Then when I arrived at the destination, I get out the car, quickly grabbed all my luggages and fled. Just kidding. My friend paid him what he deserves and asked him to f*** off. She’s my hero.

Coffee: I usually prefer my coffee hot. But for Vietnamese coffee, it has to be ice-coffee! Do grab some wesley coffee beans, fresh ground. It’s sold in grams (70,000 dong for 500g). I bought some from the Ben Thanh market

Food: Clams boiled with lemon grass, vinegar and chilly. Simple, refreshing and the natural sweetness is awesome~! Even better than my fine dine experience. There are so many varieties, I had to try them all. I had pancakes, grilled fish, spring rolls, vermicelli, wraps, Chạo tôm and Pho. I also dined at the famous local Sushi Bar and a local Mexican Restaurant (famous for pork ribs). I could afford to eat so much in 2 days is because most food are less fattening!

Fine dine: I had onion soup, steak with foie gras with some wine and tiramisu for dessert. The restaurant is cosy but so dark you don’t even know what you’re eating. The food is just ok.

Pedicure and manicure: It was only less than 70,000 dong. Inclusive of hand and leg scrub, trim, mani and pedi with OPI nail polish.

Paintings: So many choices; sizes, theme, price ranges. Or you could visit HCM City Museum of Fine Arts.

My first fishing trip! Was really an unforgettable experience. It was hard work but fun~! The catches were big and the dishes on our lunch and dinner table that two days are yummy freshest of the fresh fishes cooked in different style. The meat were so tender, white and sweet. Believe me, after all the steamy hot then rain and stormy sky in the rough sea, that’s the most satisfying and heartiest meal I’ve ever had.

I have a love and hate relationship with nuts as I’m allergic to them.
WHAT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER WHEN YOU ARE IN A BAD MOOD?

Chocolates or macha ice creams should do the trick ;)
